Replaces your selection. BETA = Strawberry & Lime; either version works.
45–60 g/hour is a reasonable starting range for your familiar steady long rides. About 60 g/hour is the benchmark for the examples, an experiment in higher fueling, not a mandatory minimum. 60–90 g/hour is an optional higher range for harder or longer efforts, as tolerated.
Duration, intensity, previous meals, and tolerance influence needs. Stored energy also contributes; this isn’t a prediction of endurance or a need to replace every calorie burned.
Finish your mix bottle, then switch to plain water if that’s your preference. A whole-ride average doesn’t imply evenly spaced intake.
Skratch Sport Hydration is the regular mix. One serving = one bottle with two scoops (160 kcal, 40 g carbs). One scoop = 80 kcal, 20 g carbs; water volume doesn’t change the totals.
BETA + Electrolytes has 200 mg sodium per gel and no caffeine. Either BETA version works in the examples.
Regular Lemon Lime Liquid I.V. is primarily hydration, with incidental carbs. Each packet has 500 mg sodium and 370 mg potassium; these values don’t apply to sugar-free versions.
Approximate label values; check your packaging. Calories use rounded planning values, not carbs × 4.
